Use Of lightning Component Framework - 

• It provides a lot of out of the box components which can be reusable as well.
• It's an event-driven architecture for ex: Button click, which browser keeps tracking.
• This framework is optimized for performance which means salesforce says that lightning component loads faster in a browser.

Open source AURA framework -

• The lightning component framework is built on the open-source AURA framework.
• The AURA framework enables you to build apps completely independent of your data in Salesforce.
